Geospatial Analyst is an entry-level full-time position with career progression opportunities. The role is assigned to infrastructure survey projects to support installation management at Fort Bragg, Geospatial Analysts proficient in ESRI’s ArcGIS suite of products should apply. Must have experience with cartography, map reading, geospatial database creation and design, and methods of geospatial data development and data management.
Responsibilities:
Use GIS to support Fort Bragg Garrison Commander in urban planning and installation management
Utilize GPS and other tools to locate and map utilities and infrastructure
Perform analysis on geospatial information and create concise reports or maps displaying the results of the analysis
Provide customer service to various military and civilian customers
Ensure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintained

Must be a US Citizen and capable of passing a background investigation
Solid proficiency in Esri ArcGIS with ArcGIS Pro experience a plus
Tech savvy and always on the lookout for ways to improve our systems and processes
Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills
1 – 3 years of GIS experience is desired which may be professional, military, or educational experience

Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and the location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required. Possible lifting up to 50 lbs.
